Masa Masterclass
Led by our guest culinary instructors and corn experts Molino Campo Noble
Nixtamalization is a traditional Mesoamerican process of preparing corn by soaking it in an alkaline solution, usually limewater, before cooking and grinding it into masa, which is used to make tortillas, tamales, and other corn-based dishes.
The process alters the corn’s nutritional profile, making it easier to digest and enhancing its flavor and aroma. Additionally, it helps to remove toxins from the corn and improve its texture and appearance.
In this masterclass you will learn how to create the ideal masa for classic Mexican dishes such as tortillas, sopes, and other masa-based dishes. Taught by our proficient trainers from Molino Campo Noble, this program includes every aspect of the process, from selecting the appropriate corn to grinding and mixing the masa, and molding and cooking your final products.
Whether you’re a novice or an experienced cook, this masterclass will enhance your masa skills and enable you to amaze your loved ones with delectable homemade Mexican meals.
