About the Author:  Vanessa is a first-generation Mexican American who embarked on a transformative journey to Tokyo in 2017. She immersed herself in the city’s vibrant culinary world as a way to gain a deeper understanding of Japan. Her experiences served as the catalyst for the formation of Nippon Viajero with the primary mission of bridging the cultural gap through community engagement of culinary workshops and events.

Since its inception, Nippon Viajero has been successfully cultivating a diverse and inclusive community where Mexican and other Latin-American cultures are celebrated, experienced, and cherished.
